Quilt

This quilt represents the story of The Grand Prix fire as experienced by students from Mrs. Marino's third grade class at John L. Golden Elementary School. The school was evacuated as the fire burned in the mountains behind Etiwanda California. Students used sights, sounds and emotions to draw stages of the wildfire for each pattern block.
