KEEP COOL IN THE FOREST

  • California Exposition 1600 Exposition Boulevard Sacramento, CA, 95815 United States

Join us July 8-24 at the California Forest Center, located inside the California State Fair grounds at Cal EXPO.

Our one-acre forestry exhibit seeks to educate guests about the important role that sustainable forestry plays in California. Expect to learn about the environmental and economic benefits of our forests, as well as some of the threats they face.

Guests can enjoy the cooler temperatures of the forest and learn about native plants and trees along the nature trail. The exhibit features rescued forest wildlife, kids’ crafts, a portable mill demonstration, a chainsaw carver and free tree seedlings for all our guests.

Come grow with us and learn all you need to know about California forests.
