The California Forest Center is a standing, one-acre exhibit at Cal Expo that hosts numerous activities for students to visit the forest without having to leave the city. Our center serves as an interactive and engaging platform for students, educators, and the public to learn about the importance of forests, forest products, and sustainable practices. There, guests can learn many aspects about our forests, including the natural resources they offer, the variety of tree species that exist, how science can be leveraged to better manage them, and why they are so important to our environment.
